Kick-Off Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria

Sofia, Bulgaria — 22 November 2024 | The consortium behind the Erasmus+ project “Empowering Young Entrepreneurs with AI” (EYE4AI) officially launched its 24-month transnational initiative during the first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM1) held at the Metropolitan Hotel in Sofia, Bulgaria. Hosted by the project coordinator, the European Development Foundation (EDF), the gathering brought together representatives from all five partner organizations across Europe:

Laying the Foundation for AI-Driven Youth Entrepreneurship

The primary objective of the EYE4AI project is to equip young entrepreneurs (ages 18–29) with the practical skills, technical tools, and ethical frameworks needed to integrate artificial intelligence into starting and scaling competitive businesses.

During the full-day Sofia meeting, consortium leaders aligned on the roadmap across all core Work Packages:

• Project Management & Coordination (WP1): Led by EDF to ensure smooth governance and quality control.
• Open E-Learning Environment (WP2): Led by Lidi Smart Solutions to design an open-access MOOC hub housing 5 core training modules and a Digital Library of vetted AI tools.
• Practical AI Adoption & Case Studies (WP3): Led by The Hive to curate 15 real-world “Good and Bad” practice case studies and a booklet featuring 25 ready-to-use business prompt templates.
• Skills Development & Capacity Building (WP4): Led by YYOUTH to deliver a youth ambassador training mobility in Oslo and a transnational workshop series.
• Communication, Dissemination & Sustainability (WP5): Co-led by F6S and The Hive to establish project branding, web infrastructure, and multi-channel outreach.

The successful meeting concluded with agreed responsibilities, quality monitoring timelines, and an enthusiastic shared commitment to empowering Europe’s next generation of business leaders.
