Inside the EYE4AI Transnational Training in Oslo

The future of European entrepreneurship is digital, sustainable, and powered by artificial intelligence. From May 18-20, 2026, Oslo, YYOUTH hosted a pivotal milestone for the EYE4AI project: our 3-day Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) under Work Package 4 (WP4).

This Erasmus+ project gathers a European consortium with years of deep expertise across business, technology, communication, and AI. The gathering brought together more than 15 selected participants comprising young entrepreneurs and AI experts from across the partner countries, to test and validate the training materials designed to level up the next generation of business leaders.

From Theory to Practice

Our journey kicked off at StartupLab Oslo, an incubator inside the Oslo Science Park. Over the course of the training, participants put our core modules to the test:

  • 🔹 Module 1: What is AI? (Led by LSS)

  • 🔹 Module 2: How to start a business using AI? (Led by EDF)

  • 🔹 Module 3: Using AI to Identify Market Needs (Led by F6S)

  • 🔹 Module 4: Access to funding (Led by YYOUTH)

  • 🔹 Module 5: Internationalisation, sustainability, and team building (Led by The Hive)

Beyond the modules, guest experts Laksiya Balasubramaniam and Linn Helene Hem challenged the group to think about execution, discussing the tangible friction points between corporate AI ambitions and actual day-to-day workflow adaptation.

Diving into the Ecosystem

A central highlight of the LTTA was connecting with Oslo’s tech ecosystem. On Day 2, the team moved to Rebel Oslo, a collaborative innovation house. Here, Tore Lie from Smart Innovation Norway and the AI+ initiative shared vital perspectives on applied AI ecosystems and collaborative cross-border innovation.

The afternoon brought an inspiring, inclusive dialogue with AI Women Norway. Together with participants Jing Lin and Gabriella Biscardi, the consortium explored women-led innovation, human-centered technology, and how to build stronger European ecosystem bridges.

Tomorrow’s AI Ambassadors

We wrapped up our final day at StartupLab with an analytical brainstorming session led by scaleup contributor Audrey Camp, centering on how to preserve human value and creativity within an increasingly AI-driven economy.

Our participants leave as certified EYE4AI Youth Ambassadors. Armed with these validated toolkits, they are now ready to launch local workshop cycles across Europe, transferring this vital knowledge to peer networks back home.

The Oslo LTTA has set a powerful benchmark for what happens when youth, innovation, and responsible technology collide.
